Dr. Piotr Chomik graduated with honors the medical and dentistry faculty at the Medical Academy in Gdańsk. He is a research and didactic worker at the Clinic of Maxillofacial Surgery and Dental Surgery at the Medical University of Gdańsk.
Piotr belongs to the international surgical foundation AO (Arbeitsgemeinschaft fur Osteosynthese), maxillofacial surgery section (AOCMF). He is the author of numerous scientific publications on rare oral diseases. In 2013, he obtained a Ph.D. in medical sciences based on a dissertation on the use of modern clinical research techniques for the early detection of cancer and precancerous conditions of the oral cavity. He is mainly interested in the surgical treatment of malocclusion, reconstructive surgery within the facial part of the skull using microsurgical techniques and treatment of injuries to the facial part of the skull.
