Bridge on implants is a prosthetic solution, in the case of dental cavities that are adjacent to each other. To complement missing teeth, at least two implants (foundations) are needed to hold the bridge, which is a combination of crowns. There is no need to insert as many implants as dental crowns that reduce the financial cost of treatment. Keep in mind that the bridges on implants are made in various combinations and may even complement completely jaw with the right amount of pillars.

4. What is the point in the bridge ?

5. What is the dependence of the number of implants (pillars) in the bridge ?

The number of required implants depends on the size, location, missing teeth and bone quality. If there are not several teeth next to each other, at least two pillars are needed to mount a few crowns (bridge). In the case of total lack of teeth, a full arch bridge is supported by 4, 6 or 8 implants.
